I went out this morning. It's an overcast day. Suppose to rain today. I can feel it in my body. I'm not sure how much will come down. And the clouds weren't talkin'. So I decided it was a good time to take pictures and capture the mood. Picture above: That's our tree in front. All the leaves fell off...and now, the prickly balls, need to fall down. I think the squirrels eat those balls. Ouch. Picture above right: I'm not not sure why looking at the clouds - with the phone lines and the apartment buildings appeals to me. It was a quiet walk. I could see lights on - people were getting up. some were on their porch or balcony - stirring.
Picture below: Another one caught between the apartment buildings. The clouds - the lines - the calm.
If you really look, you can always find something. There is a tone, a mood, and I'll just see it. Do you see stuff in your neck of the woods? Feel free to send me some pictures. I would love to post some from my readers. Take a picture of a plant. Take a picture of your yard. Take a picture of your coffee shop. Take a picture of your thumb. Well, why not? A thumb could be interesting and tell a story.
They say a picture tells a story. I believe that. Well...I believe it inspires a story for the artist to tell. Or someone can look at a picture or photograph and a story blooms inside that was very different from the artist's intention. And that's OK, by me.
