Puddles are fun. Oh...yes...I got tempted to splash. But it was a bit brisk this morning and I was out on my walk when I ran into this one. I really didn't want to get my feet wet and then continue walking with wet feet. But it was a good looking puddle. I saw some kids walking to school - I wondered if they wondered why I was taking a picture of a puddle. I also ended up going around it. That's age and wisdom for you. When you're young - you splash - you don't care - you're wet - who cares! When you're older - you look at puddle and think - if I walk through that - I'll have cold feet - wet feet - in shoes - not comfortable. This puddle looked a little too deep to wade through. I'm not saying I would fall in - but I could tell - I felt my gut instinct and it said my shoes and socks would get wet. But I could admire this puddle. I did admire this puddle.
When I got home, after looking at the picture - so much detail comes out. The color sneaking out to the side - the beautiful flowers - they pop out - sneaking in to say hello. The great reflections from the water - the trees are peeking in to say hello. The different textures. So I've made two copies. One color - and one black and white. What do you see? How do the pictures make YOU feel? What's the story here? Feel free to send me comments.
